Communications / Public Relations Associate

A subsidiary of a leader in the meat industry seeks an experienced individual to join their Public Relations/Communications department. This individual will be responsible for providing communication services to all departments and teams within the organization, be responsible for motivating the workforce through employee-relations initiatives, and work with all departments to promote company wide participation in company sponsored events. Publishing a monthly newsletter will also be required of this person as well as establishing a behavior-based incentive program for employees at all levels.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

* 2+ years communications/PR experience
* BS/MS degree
* Prior manufacturing environment experience
* Experience with print layout, design and the printing process of regular internal publications/newsletters
* Excellent computer skills - including Quark Xpress & Microsoft Office
*Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish
