Cognos Developer: Business Intelligence

Experience in designing and building BI solutions using the Cognos suite.Installation of Cognos products such as ReportNet, DecisionStream, PowerPlay, and LDAP on Unix platform;Assume ownership of the requirements collection, design and delivery for BI user interface (Reports, Cubes, and Corporate Dashboards). Prepare/analyze dimensional matrix for BI data marts. Identify dimensions, hierarchies and the measures for the business areas.Design and Create Cognos cubes using power play transformer.Design and create ReportNet metadata and provide access to business users.Assist users with writing ReportNet reports.Apply and maintain Security using LDAP.Oracle PL/SQL.Provides post-implementation and on-going production support .
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements for this position include:
Five years of development and architecture experience in the design and deployment of ETL(DecisonStream), Cubes, reporting tools, and Dashboards.Installation of Cognos products.UNIX & UNIX Shell scripting.MSOffice Suite experience on PC.
A preferred candidate would also haveExperience in working with Oracle PL/SQL.An eager-to-learn, eager-to-produce outlookThe ability to work well on a diverse and highly qualified team in a fast-paced, productive work atmosphere.Excellent communications skills, planning, ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
