Job Summary: This position works with supervision to define system scope and objectives based on user needs, thorough research and fact-finding , to develop or modify information systems. Analyzes and revises existing system logic issues. This employee will also serves as a liaison for computer vendors, physicians, and other health care professionals as well as a resource for all users in the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing education of the health care information systems.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate degree in business, computers, clinical systems, or related field required.
Certification/Licensure: National PTCB Certification preferred
Work Experience: 3 years clinical experience required within the last 10 years, experience in computer application development preferred. Experience in development of the Pharmacy module in Meditech Magic Client Server. Strong knowledge of the Pharmacy process and Client Server.
