The Civil Design Application Specialist provides design, development, programming, and maintenance of computer software and configurations in support of civil design applications such as Geopak, InRoads, Land Desktop/Civil 3D. In addition they provide end user support by researching and resolving technical issues with production related applications.The ideal candidate should: Demonstrate a strong knowledge of industry standards and practices in civil engineering. Have extensive knowledge and understanding of MicroStation/Geopak configurations. Be able to travel. Apply sound judgment in establishing priorities among support requests and project work. Display attention to detail and strong organization skills. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to gather, organize and interpret data as for process monitoring or business case development. Use office productivity software effectively (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience in civil design applications. Minimum of 3 years experience engineering production and 3 years experience in technical support of civil design applications. Experience with Bentley products such as ProjectWise is a plus.
