Civil CAD Technician

Purpose: Aerotek E&E is currently seeking a experienced civil cad technician for their Charlotte, North Carolina client. Client is a worldwide architectural, engineering and consulting firm servicing clients for over 80 years. Clients are offering possible relocation assistance, sign on bonuses and potential profit sharing for the right candidates.

Preferred candidate must have at least 2 years or more experience with a focus on Civil projects, landfill experience would be a definite plus. Responsibilities will be to work on redlines. Candidate will be able to work with engineers to develop grading plans and run some simple calculations with occasional assistance from supervisor or others. Candidates must have a technical knowledge of civil plans and be able to read and develop topos (contours). Should be able to handle drafting and possibly some design. Knowledge in AutoCAD and Land Desktop required. Hourly rate will be between $12-$25 an hour depending on levels of experience.
