Are you ready to make a difference in the world of mobile communications with RIM?POSITION SUMMARY:The Chipset Architect will define system level solutions that result in best in class mobile data products. Definition of interchip interfaces and establishing the interworking of devices from various suppliers to ensure optimized designs. Define power budgets at the system and product level. Develop and maintain roadmaps in various disciplines including power management, RF transceiver and connectivity solutions. Maintain device requirements along with product marketing, the RF functional team and digital processor architects. Work with silicon partners on the execution of their NPE plans to support the development of RIM platforms that will be fanned out across various product lines.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in Electrical Engineering.
