Catia V5 Designer

Purpose: An OEM in the Detroit Metro Area is looking for a Catia V5 Designer.

The candidate will be responsible Catia V5 design for chassis components.
The candidate will be expected to be efficient in Catia Version 5 and will be required to create Catia Version 5 designs from ground up as required. other responsibilities may be to develop wheel rim profiles, mounting pad profiles, and tire profiles per design standards to meet the wheel line-up on new vehicle program. Work together with the design studio on wheel face models and integrate back into the finished wheel design. Work with supply base to achieve FEA results consistent with requirements. Provide package studies of moving suspension components for wheel/tire clearance. Provide dimensional consultation both internally and with wheel manufacturers. Depending on workload, design responsibilities for the front and rear stabilizer bar systems as well.

Candidates must have 2+ years experience in Catia V5 design.
