Career Opportunity - Web Designer

Description – This position is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of multiple company and corporate intranet and Internet websites. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining multi-media presentations to support printed product, training or sales materials. This position works as part of the Marketing and Publications team under the direction of the Marketing Manager.


Job Requirements


Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications – Must have 3-5 years experience in web design, theory and development, including user interface and production. Must have expertise in the following programs or technologies: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Flash, Microsoft Visual Source Safe and Microsoft Front Page. Knowledge of VB Script, Active Server Pages, Microsoft.Net and SQL7 helpful, but not required. Must be able to use design and production skills to manage multi-media presentations, using Macromedia Flash, Microsoft PowerPoint and distance learning technologies. Knowledge of print production helpful, but not necessary. Must have the ability to use a computer proficiently, have impeccable organization skills and excellent oral communication skills.

Working Conditions – Occasionally bend/stoop and kneel. Rarely squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch or push/pull. Rarely lifts waist to overhead up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts floor to waist and carries up to 10 pounds. Non-smoking environment.
