CREATIVE MANAGER

MGM MIRAGE is seeking an experienced, service-driven professional to fill the Creative Manager position.This position falls under MGM MIRAGE Corporate Advertising, which supports the company's 23 properties located throughout the United States and overseas.We are looking for someone with a high level of creativity that loves managing people and processes. The Creative Manager will oversee creative projects, a small creative staff and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by their creative team.Responsibilities include managing creative projects from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into creative strategies and leading and directing their creative team through the production of advertising and marketing collateral. The successful candidate must have a broad knowledge of everything from traffic to direct mail fulfillment, electronic marketing to strategic systems improvements. Must possess the ability to clearly communicate and justify concepts, direct the collaborative efforts of a small group of creative professionals and inspire others to exceed expectations.A strong working knowledge of design, brand development and the creative process is essential. Four-year degree in art, graphic design, or advertising
Five years of design and art direction experience in an agency, in-house, or free-lance environment
Solid knowledge of design programs
Experience developing print and brand management/media integration with demonstrated results
Ability to think creatively while paying acute attention to detail in a high-volume, deadline driven environment
Experience leading strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development, creative brief development, and directing creative execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective and creative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational abilities, including time and resource management
