IT Technical Support Representatives Full University Benefits! The Office of Technology Services at Towson University is accepting applications for multiple positions in a dynamic and evolving support team dedicated to excellent client support. The ideal candidate will have experience in two of three core areas: help desk support, hardware support, and traditional desktop/field support. Responsibilities: Will install, configure, and service desktop computer systems and related technologies; provide proactive client support; communicate collaborate, and build strong partnerships and work relationships with faculty and staff at all levels; coordinate problem resolution to ensure prompt, professional service; serve as an onsite resource for clients; analyze technology needs and resources and make recommendations for modifications and upgrades; and develop basic level of knowledge required for troubleshooting and support of discipline-specific or office-specific applications. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; three years paid technical support experience (PC, Macintosh, Windows Operating Systems, File Servers, Peripherals, Remote Management Tools, and MS Office software), two years of which included user support, user training and/or programming; and demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of customer situations and self-manage workload and priorities.
