Position: DWH/CDI Project Manager

Job Description:

Commercial Business Group, a division of the Citigroup Global Consumer Group, is the largest financial institution providing leasing and other commercial financing products.

This position is a member of the development management team of the Commercial Business Group Data Warehousing (CBG-DWH) project. The position requires familiarity with WebSphere and Customer Data Integration (CDI) product knowledge. The position also requires good project management skills.



Primary Job Function:

o Manage development team, comprising 3-5 resources.
o Project planning and scheduling.
o Coordination of development team efforts with other teams in CBG-DWH.
o Coordination of development team efforts with Solana TI group and with the Business Users.
o Perform project management tasks in conformance with SDLC.
o Ensure that all deployed applications/environments adhere to corporate Information Security standards.
o Develop and maintain application standards and compliance procedures.o Oversee Change Management process to ensure that proper procedures are followed at all times.
o Coordinate the integration and change-control techniques for Test, UAT and Production environments.
o Review and approve all Change Management artifacts.
o Supervise Level 2 and 3 Production Support for CBG-DWH.
REQUIREMENTS


Skills:o 10 years experience in managing software application development with project management skills.
o 5+ years experience in developing web-based multi-tier enterprise-class applications
o 3+ years of experience with WebSphere and WebSphere Portal Server
o 3+ years experience with Apache and Tomcat.
o 2+ years experience in OLAP server technology
o 3+ years Oracle experience.
o 3+ years experience with Unix, preferably AIX
o Strong understanding of metadata.
o Excellent written and oral communications skills.
o Financial industry experience (Profitability & Pricing Models).
o Able to effectively communicate to business users and managers.
o Sound knowledge of good software engineering practices.
o Sound knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and technologies with proven expertise in MIS Reporting tools, RDBMS and CRM products.
o Good working knowledge of techniques and methodologies for application performance measurement, application profiling and achieving application scalability.
o Good working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite, authentication/authorization, web servers, directory services, and multi-tier architectures.
o Leadership/mentoring experience essential
o Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.

Other:o Financial systems development experience is a plus.
o CDI related technologies experience a big plus.
