CAD DESIGNER

Purpose: Generate CAD drawings from field notes, sketches or own designs.
-Draw/design modifications that are made, or need to be made, to rigs including structural, piping, electrical, mechanical, and general arrangement design.
-Generate drawings such as Compliance and Operational drawings for submission to Classification Societies and Flag/Coastal States.
-Develop rig over platform drawings for Operations and Marketing departments.
-Produce drawings for proposals and bids, charts, graphs, timelines, etc.
-Assist senior management with brochure designs.
-Scan large and small documents, files as appropriate in Engineering library, CAD electronic files, and on the network.
-Plot to network plotters and photocopies D (24? by 36?) and E (36? by 48?) sized drawings in both black & white and color, and prints 11 x 17 to network laser printers.
-Obtain product information from vendors, as required.
-Submit progress/activity reports, as directed.
-Other duties and/or special projects as assigned by senior management.
