MAJOR FUNCTION / DESCRIPTION
The .NET Developer will be involved in the review of computer system specifications and the coding of these specifications using .NET methodology and coding standards to develop new court related applications. C#, Object Oriented Design and Development using UML and Use Cases highly preferred. Employees in this class will need the ability to manage small projects and/or lead a small team of developers in order to perform duties of more than average difficulty requiring reasonable initiative and independent judgment under general supervision.
MAJOR DUTIES

Depending on assigned area of responsibility, incumbents in the position may perform some or all of the activities described below.
Translates low level program specifications, using C# - .Net or appropriate computer languages, into programs of coded instructions used by computers.
Analyzes program problems and modifies as required.
Assists in preparing test data, and testing and de-bugging programs.
Assists in the documentation of all procedures used throughout the system.
Performs other related duties as required. REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge of the principals and techniques of computer programming.
Working knowledge of computer equipment and operations and the inter-relationships of equipment with programming approaches.
Some knowledge of computer programming languages.
Some knowledge of general office policies, practices and procedures.
Ability to effectively write programs in one or more languages.
Ability to follow oral and written procedures.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Ability to follow established procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to collect, organize and evaluate data and to develop logical conclusions.
Ability to use common office software(prefer Microsoft products).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a Data Processing field; andTwo years (2) of paid employment C#-.NET and SQL Server database programming experience

Associates or higher degree form an accredited college or university with a major in Data Processing field and three (3) years of paid employment of C#-.Net and SQL Server database programming experience

Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate and two years experience in computer programming, and Five (5) years of paid employment .NET and SQL Server database programming experienceBENEFITS
