Business Analyst/Designer

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: Centricity Business Solutions (formerly Flowcast) is looking for a qualified Business Analyst/Designer to join our Development team. The team focuses on improving the revenue cycle by enhancing our suite of products, further integrating our products with others and developing new modules.Job Responsibilities: Work with customers and GE staff to understand their needs Translate customer and GE staff needs into requirements Write specifications from which Engineers can code, QA Analysts can write test plans and test and Technical Writers can document Work with alpha/beta customers on new releases of Centricity Business Solutions Lead training courses to transfer knowledge to others in the organization Problem-solve application issues escalated to development Keep current on customer and industry issues by attending and leading user groups and reading IDX listserves (e.g. Yahoo chat groups) and trade journals.~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 3 years experience working with Centricity Business Solutions (formerly Flowcast) Billing and Accounts Receivable System (BAR) and Transaction Editing System (TES) in order to understand the context of customer requests for system enhancements as they relate to current system functionality and workflows Knowledge of the revenue cycle workflow Knowledge of EDI transactions as they relate to workflows in BAR Listening, writing, analytical and communication skills to understand customer needs and to translate them into requirements, designs and solutions that can be implemented Tolerance and respect for diverse opinions is especially important to work on a cross-functional team Ability and desire to learn and to apply Cache SQL skills Travel up to 15%Desired: Knowledge of other Centricity Business Solutions financial products and Cognos products is desirable.Knowledge of SQL.
