BI Engineer/Data Warehouse

Classification: Consulting Compensation: Pay up to $50 per hour Our cusomter is looking for software professionals to assist us with the delivery of their next generation of Enterprise software products and solutions.We are looking for a Data Architect with IT domain knowledge. The scope of this role entails new product development and/or customized integrations with 3rd party data sources. This role involves designing, architecting, and implementing data warehouses and data marts leveraging open source ETL and BI tools. The engineer should provide best practices for database design and optimization for reporting solutions. The position involves working closely with other Software Engineers/Architects, projectmanagers, product managers, and business users on Evident's next generation Unified Reporting Platform.
3+ years of commercial software product development experience.3+ years of data warehouse and data modeling experience.Ability to translate reporting and analytical needs and design the appropriate ETLs and data models.Strong experience with open source ETL products and/or commercial ETL tools.Strong experience working with data modeling tools (ie. ERwin, ModelMart, System Architect).Strong experience with Data Warehouse architecture and design concepts (ie. Star, Snowflake, Hybrid).Extensive experience with SQL.Experience with open source BI products and/or commercial BI platforms (ie.
