Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: Digital MediaResponsibilities: *Generating ideas for articles, tools, and quizzesResearching and reviewing book content for possible use on the siteResearching product shots and getting photo permissions for use on the siteWriting, editing and building new content such as newsletters, book excerpts, quizzes, articles and moreWriting promotional copy for channel pagesWorking with expertsReporting and organizing traffic metricsUpdating channel pagesWorking with Technical team to fix bugs, maintain site and implement improvementsMonitoring online communities, and working with community moderators to maintain and grow message board traffic.Attending press events and industry shows with producer to scout out trends and story ideas~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *B.A. in journalism, English or communications and 1+ years experience in producing, creating and editing multimedia and interactive content for the WebDesired: *A background in decorating, cooking and homekeeping content (preferably online) is strongly preferred
Applicants should have prior web editing and producing experience and a passion for the web and media in general, and understand how women use the web to find information and support.
Applicant should have strong organizational skills, be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and be able to take direction well and provide self-direction.
