Department: AllThe minimum qualifications for this position require graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in architecture, and a minimum of 6 months of professional registration and architectural experience of which one year involved with developing and coordinating major construction projects. The construction projects may include resort/hospitality, public buildings, office complexes, major structures requiring application of a wide range of architectural and engineering principles and practices utilizing considerable judgment and independent decision-making.Architectural design and building construction experience: contract administration including cost estimating, laws, ethics, develop and write specifications, working knowledge of building codes and ordinances; good interpersonal and public relations experience working with principal architect to develop architectural scope of work depicting project requirements; prepare presentation documents for the clients review; supervision of project staff and management of multiple projects.Must be licensed by the Nevada State Board of Architecture and Interior Design to practice architecture in the State of Nevada. Candidates for registration must become licensed as an Architect in Nevada within six months following the date of appointment as a condition of employment.
