Architect / Designer

Purpose: This firm, with headquarters in New York, is searching for a design focused Architect, with 5+ years of experience, to run with projects from start to finish.

This firm focuses on major Interior projects ranging between 50,000 and 100,000+ s.f. as well as a variety of Core & Shell projects. Clients and current projects include: CBS headquarters, IBM, New York Life, MetLife, AIG, MasterCard, Citigroup, and other major corporations. The also design restaurants, car dealerships, and a variety of other Core & Shell.

Candidates must be able to work from Conception through to Construction Administration, have significant FF&E experience, be familiar with building codes, have experience with budgeting and scheduling, and delegating responsibility accordingly.

Candidates will be involved with design, oversee design and production, establish project goals, objectives, budgets, and client fees. They should be well adept with AutoCAD, understand contracts, have good communication and client interaction skills, handle Construction Administration functions, and be able to work in a team environment.
