Application Architect-International Message Broker Application

Our Investment Bank is one of the world’s top global investment banking and securities firms, providing a full spectrum of products to institutional and corporate clients, intermediaries, government and hedge funds worldwide.The UBS Investment Bank based in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking an Application Architectto work as a key member of the ESS (Enterprise Shared Services) IT team supporting the International Message Broker application. The Enterprise Shared Services IT is a global stream within UBS Investment Bank IT group. IT areas under ESS include Ops Cross Products & Data, Financial Control, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Market Risk & Margin Management and Credit Risk. The Application Architect will work within the Messaging Innovation and Change-the-Bank IT area comprised of the International Message Broker, SWIFT Alliance Access and SWIFT Alliance Gateway. This IT area is responsible for delivering small system changes to large scale projects which may be regional or global in scope and in implementation. The technical solutions could be either tactical or strategic with the objective to support current and projected business growth in an efficient and cost effective manner.Cash Management & Payments (“CM&P”) IT department under Ops Cross Products & Data supports the business in mission-critical functions including financial messaging, payments and and current account processing. A significant number of systems under CM&P are categorized as Systemic Risk System.The successful candidate will be responsible for the regional Stamford team focusing on the International Message Broker system functionalities, design and architecture from both a regional and global context with familiarity on SWIFT Alliance Access and SWIFT Alliance Gateway. The ideal candidate should have 2+ year work experience as a developer on Biztalk platform in the area of messaging. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:Four year degree (BA/BS) or international equivalent
Minimum 2 years work experience on Biztalk platform
