Appeals Nurse Analysts

Johns Hopkins HealthCare (JHHC), the managed care division of Johns Hopkins Medicine, provides claims administration and service initiatives through three main health care plans serving more than 150,000 members. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Appeals Nurse Analysts.

As an Appeals Nurse Analyst, you will:
•Provide timely review of inpatient and outpatient/ER appeals for medical necessity
•Maintain appeals logs, data bases and other data as necessary
•Coordinates review of appeals with Medical Directors
REQUIREMENTS
•Current MD RN licensure; BSN preferred
•3 years experience in acute care nursing
•Experience in managed care case management, utilization management, appeals or claims processing beneficial
