App Syst Analyst/Prgr IV

Applies systems solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. Assists in preparing detailed specifications from which computer programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs. May be required to work and/or lead special projects or teams.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Full knowledge of at least one programming language; typically 5 or more years programming experience.

Enterprise Business Intelligence Services is in search of a developer to assist in the development and support of the Consumer Information Warehouse (CIW). Responsibilities include but are not limited to ETL design, development, testing and implementation. Additional responsibilities will include conducting ETL and test reviews, enhancing current standards and guidelines for ETL processes and meta data capture. Customer and on-call production system support required. Projects will include PolicyPro Policy Number Expansion, Sourcing changes due to PolicyPro (ACE, CMDS, pub/sub), Paperless Metrics, AREL Fishbone cube redesign, Additional interactions for CDMS Alerts.

The successful candidate will be quality oriented with great attention to details. Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills and able to interact with multiple IT teams and customers both formally and informally. Must be a self-starter who can work independently and has displayed initiative to take action and achieve goals beyond what is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills also required.

Minimum Requirements:
4-5 years programming in a mainframe environment with COBOL and JCL
2-4 years DB2 Development
1-3 years data warehousing complete life-cycle development

The following experience is a plus:
Progressive Systems knowledge
Client/Server including SQL Server DTS, SSIS, C#
Data Modeling (ERwin or Power Designer)
ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, Ascential),
