Aesthetician

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing a high standard of facial treatment accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with establishment procedures. Provide make-up and skin care consultation and sell cosmetic products to clients. Take initiative and action to improve/perfect knowledge and skills. Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional image. Display a high standard of customer service, courteous and attentive to client needs. Develop new customers, maintain client cards and send notes to existing clients. Prepare daily sales reports and strive to meet established service and retail sales goals. Perform clerical duties timely and accurately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Provide thorough, accurate facial treatment and depilatory waxing, in accordance with established procedures.
?Provide comprehensive (make-up and, if appropriate) skin care consultation, emphasize product benefits and encourage clients to purchase appropriate cosmetics for their skin care needs.
?Take initiative and action to perfect beauty service knowledge and skills.
?Demonstrate a high standard of customer service while being courteous and attentive to client needs.
?Proactively develop new customers, maintain client cards and send notes to existing clients.
?Accurately prepare daily reports and submit to manager in accordance with specified procedures.
?Consistently strive to meet established service and retail sales goals.
?Participate in promotional activity to build current guest loyalty and/or attract new guests. Activities include the provision of complimentary services and educating guests on available promotions & programs (e.g., series sales, retail sales, etc.).
?Maintain safety standards and cleanliness, keeping work area clean and equipment properly sanitized.
?Perform general clerical duties (as needed) in a timely and accurate manner.
?Attend training meeting and monthly department meetings as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
?Appropriate training, experience and certification (established for specific levels of the position).
?Thorough knowledge of cosmetics, skin care products and related application procedures.
?Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
?Excellent (English speaking) communication skills.
?Good organization skills.
?Able to stand on feet for a prolonged period of time.
?Available to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
