Advanced Software Engineer

We are very actively recruiting for a person with both strong technical and leaderhship skills for this position.

In this role, you will work on development of the embedded viewer. The candidate will perform design and software programming for products and services (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer
expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. The candidate will perform all of the SDLC steps on their own for a number of projects in parallel including creating, documenting, and executing software designs which
may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. The candidate should have comprehensive and diversified knowledge of engineering/computer science methods and practices. The candidate will be the technical lead of
one or more projects within one area of a product. Frequent customer
interaction. Able to solve complex technical problems.
Requirements

Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 5-8 years in object oriented software programming, preferably partially in the PLM domain. The candidate should have proficiency in Java J2SE including Swing and threading, C++, and familiarity with XML. Experience with CORBA a plus. You should also have experience with development on Windows and UNIX OS and use of common development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse and source- code configuration tools such as Clear Case, Perforce. Lastly, experience with commercial web application servers, such as Weblogic is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience in performing SDLC steps and also contribute to process improvement and the ability to assist customers on deployment and technical support issues. The candidate should have comprehensive and diversified knowledge of engineering/computer science methods and practices.
