Selected candidate will identify
functional space requirements
for instructional, research,
health care, administrative &
service units; analyze existing
space utilization; identify &
evaluate options to meet
relocation objectives; prepare
recommendations for realloca-
tion of existing space; and
develop functional program
statements for building
renewal & construction of new
facilities.
Requires Bachelor's degree in
appropriate field (e.g., archi-
tecture, interior design, plan-
ning, educational
administration) & 7 years of
progressive exp in facility &
space planning with proven
ability to analyze complex
space & facility planning prob-
lems and manage multiple
planning projects
simultaneously. Prefer appro-
priate advanced degree & 3 years exp in facility planning in
university environment; famil-
iarity with benchmarking of
space requirements for educa-
tional & research programs in
Research I institutions; exp
developing conceptual cost
estimates & proficiency with
CAFM reporting systems/
applications.
Salary is commensurate with
