AIX Administrator

Excellent opportunity for AIX Administrator for a full time direct hire position located in Orlando, FL

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for AIX systems including: monitor system, backups, troubleshooting and testing/validation
Will work with the DBA group (Oracle and SQL Server)
Projects will include new replacement servers and application upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required: (Years or Level)

AIX 5.X
Needs to understand basic/general networking, installing network cards, communication over SNA, to mainframe or backup DB, UNIX shell scripting

Skills Desired: (Years or Level)

Oracle, SQL Server, Linux
LPAR and HACMP are strong pluses

Ideal Candidates Background:

5+ years of AIX Administration
Knowledge of HACMP and LPAR
Basic understanding of Database troubleshooting
