ACH Applications Analyst

Job Category: ACH Commerce/Applications AnalystGeneral Responsibilities: This position will become the subject matter expert on all ACH systems and as well as department functions.Specific responsibilities include:
Obtain a full understanding of the processes and functionality in receiving and processing, customer setup and support, bank G/L reconciliations. Identify gaps and validate key business flows.Focal point for the operations staff on problem resolution and setting priorities on the development of system enhancements.Analyze operational needs/processing considerations, evaluate system capabilities and provide recommendations.Develop training plans for user areas on new application systems. Test new applications and evaluate output for accuracy.Assist PMO in SAS 70 reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience (required).Minimum 3 years of experience working with ACH or electronic payments (Required)Complete understanding of the ACH cycle and familiar with the regulations that govern them. (Required)General understanding of mainframe (batch processing) operations.Understanding of workflow rules and general computing controls. (Required)Strong analytical skills and power of analysis (Required)Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to communicate with different levels including both internal and external customers and vendors (Required)Display high level energy (Required)Ability to make decisions under time critical situations (Required)Ability to take the leadership role in problem resolutions (Required)Banking operation knowledge (Required)Excellent PC skills (Required)Accessible for all shifts of the operations. Ability to be on-call/pager duty after regular shift has ended, 5 days a week. (Required)Special Considerations: Ability to travel 75% required.
