As a Worlwide Securities Services Relationship Manager in the NA Investment Manager segment, you will be responsible for covering a group of existing Institutional investment manager client relationships to defend and grow revenue through new business development. WSS's global product set is utilized by global institutional investors and includes global custody, fund servicing, transfer agency, securities lending, FX, alternative investment services, performance measurement and other ancillary products.
Functioning out of 25 regional operational, technology and customer service centers around the globe, JPMorgan offers clients a full scope of custody and securities servicing products.
You will also work with sales colleagues to help win new business from prospects within the investment manager segment with the ultimate result of managing the client relationship when won.
The core responsibilities of this position include: growing revenue of existing client relationships through a consultative sales approach; proactively managing the relationship by using disciplined account planning; maintaining annuity revenues by ensuring client satisfaction; understanding profitability of client relationships; identifying and winning new business; calling on clients to understand their business and to identify current and future requirements; developing and maintaining industry and market expertise to maximize client opportunities; understanding linkages among products and how they relate to the client's business strategy; and managing client risk at JPMorgan through extensive in-depth calling and understanding of the client (penetrating the client organization). You will act as the client’s advocate and as the liaison between other relevant JPMorgan groups, including Worldwide Securities Services' product management, client service, operations, tax, legal; the Investment Bank coverage team and Treasury Services. REQUIREMENTS
Possesses 10 or more years of mutual fund, investment operations, product management or custody relationship management experience Demonstrates capability to identify and close sales opportunities through active client calling Proficiency in building and maintaing positive client relationships Proficiency in negotiation and strategic account planning skillsDemonstrates excellent/strong time management, organizational, team building and planning skills Possesses strong creative solution and problem solving skills Has the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources Possess strong quantitative skills Possess excellent communication skillsPossess knowledge and understanding of JPMorgan Treasury and Security Services products
