Visitor Assistant- Call Center Sales

The Visitor Services department of the Nashville CVB serves as the first point of contact for potential visitors to Nashville. In your role as a Visitor Assistant you will work in a small call center atmosphere and will be providing Nashville information, making hotel reservations, and promoting and selling Nashville attraction tickets and vacation packages. We are currently looking for someone to work full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Compensation includes Benefits, Parking, and additional financial incentive for sales results.


Responsibilities include:

Handling phone inquiries in a timely, efficient manner
Assessing and assisting visitor’s needs
Promoting and selling hotel reservations, attraction tickets, and vacation packages to callers
Maintaining knowledge and up-to-date information on Nashville attractions, hotels and events
Providing convention housing information for select groups
Skill training as provided for the Visitor Services Team
Special projects as requested


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent phone skills
Good data entry skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
Background in hospitality/tourism preferred
