Utilization Review/Precert LPN - Danville

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs non-invasive diagnostic procedures using ultrasound equipment; meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area. Directly accountable to the Technical Specialist and Radiology Team Leader

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated good organizational skills and effective communication skills. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Requires completion of an accredited two year allied health program in radiology or two years of college with an emphasis on the biological sciences; requires satisfactory completion of a formal CAHEA recognized ultrasonic training program or equivalent experience; requires ARDMS registry of eligibility. Requires at least three months on the job to become familiar with all duties; one year experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer is preferred.
