Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. invites you to join an incredible project to reposition the hotel with its cutting edge design and genuine hospitality. The hotel reopens in spring 2006 after a complete closure and dramatic $24 million redesign by New York-based visionary designer Tony Chi. Classic American themes pair with modern, contemporary style in the "reconcepted" property, welcoming clientele from around the world to our nation's capital.



The Turndown Attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring that the hotels standards of cleanliness for the guest rooms and the hotel are maintained with the highest level of proficiency. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning, turning down guest beds, assisting guests with all requirements, and providing courteous, professional and personalized service at all times. This is a fast paced position involving heavy lifting, pushing and pulling as well as excessive walking, standing and bending. Shifts generally scheduled from 5:00pm to 9:00pm including weekends and holidays, although may be modified based on business needs.
REQUIREMENTS


Successful candidates will demonstrate strong customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; good communication and professional presentation; and the ability to multi-task while maintaining close attention to detail. Hotel industry experience is not required. Previous experience in the luxury industry preferred.
