Position Title: Training Manager

Job Summary:
The Training Manager has overall accountability for the training program and practices across three Bill Review office locations. Responsible for a thorough and consistent approach to documentation and training methodologies/materials across the 3 field locations and throughout the Managed Care Division. Will supervise a Trainer based in the Schaumburg, IL office. Plans, develops, implements and delivers programs to Bill Review Operations and new employees related to the Bill Review system. Partners with all levels of management to evalute needs and assess existing training tools, as well as makes recommendations for workflow and process improvements. Oversee the delivery of regular communications and updates on the bill review system to all users. Assess the overall training program effectiveness by monitoring progress, tracking and reviewing program results, etc. Remain current on Zurich's standards, operations, business unit practices, etc. and the impact to related operational areas in order to properly assess training needs and deliver effective programs. Travel approximately 50% between Schaumburg IL, Columbus OH and Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Qualifications:
1) Bachelors Degree or minimum 5 years equivalent business experience.
2) Knowledge of the P and C industry, including hands on experience with manual and automated rating and policy issue systems.
3) Minimum 5 years related training experience in P and C industry.
4) Minimum 2 years full scope supervisory experience (training and development, performance management, budget maintenance, etc).
5) Proven ability to work well independently as well as manage any required collaborative efforts in meeting training goals and objectives.
6) Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in order to maintain positive internal management and employee relations, facilitate training programs, report on results, create and develop program tools and materials, etc. 7) Excellent computer skills including knowlede of training tracking software.
