Trade Specialist - Customer Service Representative

They will work with the Commodity Finance Manager in troubleshooting various transactions and shipments. They will also work with the logistics team to help resolve any problems with the physical shipments of the renewable agricultural commodities. This position also monitors the Accounts Receivables of external customers that range from $500,000 to $10,000,000. This position may require overtime hours due to time sensitive deadlines.1.Responsible for the input and maintenance of accurate contract information in the computer system.2.Extensive customer service responsibilities including resolution of problems and discrepancies as well as building relationships with our customers. Heavy call volume is expected3.Responsible for settling the purchases and sales in the computer system for all shipments.4.Monitors the accounts receivables of external customers. Collection of accounts range from $500,000 to $10,000,000 depending on Renewable Ag desk.5.Responsible for reconciling reports and coordinating accounting functions with various internal departments for settlement of purchase and sales.6.Assistance with various time sensitive projects and processes as the Renewable Ag desk grows.Education/Experience/Skills: (list minimum requirements)
High level of multi-tasking ability
1 - 2 years experience in a trading environment preferred, or 3 - 4 years in a business environment.
Two year degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong customer service commitment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic general ledger accounting.
