Tier 2 Helpdesk
Purpose: TEKsystems is currently seeking candidates for a Technical Support Specialist (Helpdesk Tier 2) position in Boulder, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have a year or more of experience working on a technical helpdesk. Candidates will receive 200 hours of technical training specific to the technologies that are being supported.
On a daily basis, candidates will be supporting mainframe technologies and their interoperability with our clients data storage products. Qualified candidates will be possess strong analysis & problem solving skills, strong customer service skills and a strong competency for technical troubleshooting.
Candidates are REQUIRED to have at least 1 year of technical support experience to be considered for this position. Candidates with experience supporting any of the following technologies will be given preference:
- UNIX (any flavor)
- Windows (NT or higher)
- MVS or OS/390
- Any experience supporting data storage products
This is a 24/7 environment that requires candidates to need to be flexible with their schedule at times. In addition, candidates are required to pass a drug test and background check prior to starting.
