Technical Support Specialist

Comsys is searching for a Technical Support Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity in Philadelphia, PA.

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide technical support to Data Services’ customers through phone and email support systems. Communicate trouble ticket status to the customers via the customer communication policy.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform all responsibilities of TAC Specialist I
•Trouble Ticket Owner responsibilities for tickets in TAC Task List.
•2nd Level Troubleshooting of TCP/IP Connectivity problems on Customer’s Internet, Frame Relay, VPN, and Private Line Connections
•Maintain Cisco certifications for Security and/or VOIP specializations
•Sell and Provide Professional services
•Provide hot leads to Sales for up selling of Managed Service Products.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Must have all):
•Minimum 1 year experience in Help Desk environment
•Proficient in TAC Specialist 1 responsibilities or equivalent
•Demonstrated proficiency in IPSEC VPN technologies
•Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience


SPECIAL SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
•Cisco Routers and Pix Firewalls
•Adtran CSU’s/DSU’s
•MS Office
