Technical Service Rep Sr.

Responsibility of the position is to provide technical support for BASF Pharma Solutions to the pharmaceutical industries within North America. The job requires an advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and the ability to communicate effectively with R&D scientists in the industries. The candidate must have the capability to trouble shoot, assist customers with specific requests in relation to development projects, conduct development work to explore new applications of BASF pharmaceutical ingredients and coordinate development projects to improve the performance characteristics of existing products. The candidate should have the ability to provide technical presentations and monitor collaborative projects with academic institutions.



REQUIREMENTS


-Masters degree with 5+ years formulation development experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as knowledge of analytical techniques.

-Must have good communication and presentation skills.

-Demonstrated ability to cultivate extensive contacts with R&D groups in pharmaceutical industries.

-Demonstrated ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
