Technical Sales

WEG Electric Motors Corp., the US subsidiary of the WEG Group in Brazil, is seeking a Technical Sales Analyst (TSA) for its Suwanee, GA location. This professional sales position provides critical support to the customers by evaluating the customer’s product needs, identifying opportunities for additional sales, and managing the full life cycle of order processing. In addition, this role provides pertinent technical information to support customers and outside sales personnel. The TSA is part of a pivotal and high-profile team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares special engineered product quotes.
Reads and analyzes engineering and customer specifications.
Provides technical support to territory sales specialists and outside sales force.
Reviews all special orders for accuracy.
Advises sales on product development issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customers.

Required Skills:

Must have strong customer relations and problem-solving skills.
Ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Good telephone skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
Ability to research and resolve issues.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must have strong technical aptitude. While training is provided, knowledge of electric motors and their applications is helpful. To be successful in this role, the Technical Sales Analyst should have prior experience in inside sales and/or customer service. An analytical focus and the ability to resolve issues are critical.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
