We have an immediate need for a
Contract Technical Interpreter/Translator (English/Japanese)
in Portland, TN for 3 to 6 months (perhaps longer).

Job Description:
• Interpret meetings and talks related to daily work activities.
• Interpret meetings and explanations about descriptions,
problems and methods of developmental engineering.
• Translate English documents into Japanese.
• Create various documents.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:
At the request of management or personnel, interpreter is to
translate meetings, documents, and other.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
• B.S. Degree or Associate Degree in related field
• Has extensive knowledge in automotive industry.
• Speaks fluent Japanese (as good as a native speaker)
• Can perform written and verbal translation
(Verbal translation - 30%; Written Translation - 20%;
Manufacturing Coordination work - 50%)
• Ability to travel (including Japan)
• Flexibility to work overtime to meet business need requirements
• Good communication skills with both Japanese and
American personnel.
• Interested in new launch coordination work.
