Tech Support / Test Leader

Software company with a small help desk seeking a Technical Support/Test Lead on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody seeking a comfortable team-oriented work environment.

DESCRIPTION:
The Tech Support/Test Lead assists customers regarding software questions and issues via incoming calls and e-mail. The Tech Support/Test Lead also creates test plans, writes and reviews test cases, and validates new and existing software releases.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience
Works well with people and has patience
Excellent communication skills (both technically and "translate" into non-technical explanations and instructions)
Windows 95-XP + Windows Server OS’s
MAC OS knowledge preferable
Strong desire to take responsibility and manage
Understands the purpose and basic principles of software testing
Must be able to Multi-Task
Networking experience preferable (but this is NOT a Network Admin position)
