Tech Services Manager

Currently, we are seeking experienced Technical Service Sales Managers in the Bay Area.
The Technical Service Sales Manager directly supervises a team of Technicians and others assigned to department. You would be responsible for managing the activities of the Technical Services Department within a store, including the servicing and repairing of computer systems, maximizing technical services department sales, revenues and profitability, maintaining department records and schedules, ordering parts and supplies, responding to customer inquiries, and providing general information and promoting sale of company services, products, and operations.
This key player's essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assign service orders to Technicians, schedule Technicians to perform delivery and installation work at customer sites and ensure a first in/first out workflow. Prepare Technician Daily Logs and Route Sheets for review by the General Manager. Manage speed of service results, controls inventory that is used for service orders, and is responsible for the overall organization and appearance of the Service Center.
Maintain the Lotus Notes Technician certification database and ensures that certification requirements are met.
Order and receive spare parts for service orders, return defective parts to the vendor, file all service order and purchase order paperwork, review service orders for correctness in billing, and correct purchase orders that have been rejected by the Multi-Vendor Support Group. Ensure all orders are properly documented and released for pick-up.
Responsible for the preparation of work schedules, payroll input, and budget preparation.

The professional we seek will have a high energy level with great interpersonal skills and thrive on multiple challenges with 4-6 years experience in computer equipment repair, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in this or related field.
A high school education or GED equivalent is required or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training. A bachelor's/associate's degree in Computer Science, Technical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Appropriate certifications are necessary (please list them when applying).
