TECHNICAL SUPPORT POSITION / TECH SUPPORT

TECH SUPPORT POSITION OPENING

Fast growing company is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Technical Support Team. This position is an outstanding opportunity for a career minded individual to join a growing company and make an immediate contribution. Position Definition:

The position of Technical Support Representative is a salaried position not limited to forty hours per week. This position will have a variety of duties related to real time product support.

The main goal of this position is to provide technical support for our product line to customers and those who provide service to our customers.

This position requires:
Extensive interaction with external customers, and with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Engineering, and Production departments.

General Duties:
Provide phone technical support to internal and external customers for prescribed hours of coverage time
Research customer questions and provide follow up calls or emails to customers
Aid custom product personnel with support (including but are not limited to):
-Initiation of quotation process
-Document management
Respond to Technical Support e-mails within 24 hours
Expedite resolution of outstanding issues and act as an advocate to improve customer satisfaction
Provide internal and external customers interdepartmental status requests such as order, quote, or drawing expedites

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a positive, business oriented professional within the organization
Some duties such as creating spreadsheets, faxing documents, filing, and data entry
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of sales or customer service experience and a technical aptitude
Technical certificate or equivalent experience
Cabling/connector industry, electrical engineering, cable manufacturing, or equivalent experience preferred
Strong customer service skills
Proficient with MS Office tools
