System Support Analyst (Help Desk)

Due to continued growth and success we are expanding our IT department. Excellent opportunity offering unlimited growth potential to the right candidate.
The Desktop Support's primary role is the support of end computer users and the hardware and software necessary to ensure the correct operation of the technology provided to those users.Essential Responsibilities Include:
1. Receive support calls, log those calls and provide system support to the field. 2. Perform diagnosis on system problems via phone, remote access or site visitation, if necessary. 3. Perform routine maintenance functions, including audits and system maintenance. 4. Complete special projects as assigned or assist other team members in the completion of projects or support issues as necessary. 5. Communicate effectively with end users to ensure effective support. 6. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Strong hospitality and customer service skills. 2. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through the use of the telephone and email. 3. Ability to troubleshoot problems in a methodical and thorough manner. 4. Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, sometimes high pressure environment. 5. Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as needed to ensure good customer service. 6. Able to manage time and work independently or as part of a team. 7. Working helpdesk experience in the support of end users in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. 8. Experienced in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, email systems and antivirus. 9. Experienced with workstations and laptops, printers, and networking hardware and software components. 10. Ability to travel as necessary. 11. Flexible schedule and availability to be on call during weekends and holidays.
