For more information, visit Medstrat's website at www.medstrat.comThe Position-The Support Technician is a member of a team responsible for installation and support of a nationally distributed network containing 400 Linux servers and 1000 Windows desktops across two product lines. This technician will provide technical phone support from 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday, and the technician will travel domestically (50% travel or more) as needed to install and support of Medstrat systems.
Job Responsibilities-The candidate will interface directly with the Customer Relationship Managers to document all activities in the support and installations departments. Training in the installation and maintenance of various medical devices used in Medstrat systems will be provided on the job. This candidate will report to the Director of Professional Services.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Qualifications- Associates Degree is required, Bachelors Degree is preferred
1-2 years experience with Windows 2000 / XP Professional
Linux/Unix experience is a must
Working knowledge of networking concepts
Experience in on-site and/or phone-based technical support
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desire to learn new systems and technologies
Must be willing to travel 50% or more
