Job Responsibilities:

Manage subrogation files which includes:

Investigating accidents.

Identifying sources of recovery.

Asserting subrogation liens.

Identifying and monitoring injured party's accident.

Related diagnoses and paid claims totals.

Independently manage the subrogation files and negotiate settlements within defined parameters.

Subrogation case work / correspondence:
Call or write insured or other parties of interest such as plaintiffs attorney, defense counsel and third party insurers to obtain missing information, monitor receipt and follow-up as needed.
Post information to subrogation system.

Respond to telephone and written requests for information.

Create medical summary and calculate lien amount.
Periodic review of claim system to update medical summary.

The Analyst acts independent of an attorney to represent our client's subrogation interest:
The Analyst corresponds with plaintiffs attorney, defense counsel, third party insures and all other parties of interest.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications:




High school graduate required.




A four year degree in Paralegal Studies or a Business-related area preferred.




Comparable work experience considered in areas of health care insurance, P&C insurance, law firm or subrogation company.




Knowledge of medical terminology required.




Excellent people skills, both verbal and written communication skills required; strong customer service skills.




Must be able to work within team environment.




Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing workloads and team requirements.




Excellent organizational skills required, ability to prioritize and work independently is a must.




Proven analytical problem solving skills.




Negotiating skills preferred.




Proficient in MS Word and Excel and Internet research skills.
