Provide complete and timely training to all employees in areas
including, but not limited to, customer service, product knowledge,
visual standards and daily operations. Provide ongoing feedback to
staff through performance appraisals and corrective action sessions.
Train and advance all employees to their maximum level of customer
service. Promote growth within the company and develop future quality
Store Managers.
Develop and implement a strategic plan that increases market share and
maintains a ROI that meets or exceeds company goals. Research market
opportunities, company and competitor strengths and weaknesses and
customer satisfaction to develop and implement in-store sales promotions
and specials.
Participate in annual budgeting and expense planning. Monitor and
manage costs to remain within budgetary guidelines continually
throughout the year. Make outside sales initiatives to build business.
Maintain accounts receivable balances within company guidelines by
using good judgment and following company procedures in all aspects
including, but not limited to extension of credit, account maintenance
and collection.
Manage inventory levels by maximizing inventory turns, controlling and
monitoring stock-outs and rotating stock in a timely manner to provide a
strong DIOH number.
Enforce company store standards in terms of cleanliness, presentation,
signing, etc. Monitor and coordinate any necessary repairs or upgrades
to the building structure or property.
Supervise and protect company assets by ensuring all company
procedures including, but not limited to daily sales audit and deposits,
petty cash and register funds and loss prevention are strictly adhered
to.
Enforce all company specific safety guidelines, ensuring standards are
a part of daily practice. Plan and conduct monthly safety meeting and
quarterly safety inspections.Competencies: Action Oriented, Approachability, Business Acumen,
