Our financial products and services drive sales, deepen guest relationships and sustain outstanding profitability.PurposeAs a Senior Guest Relationship Specialist, you will provide a Target branded experience with every guest interaction related to media sensitive, potential legal issues, and situations that involve extensive research or partnering with other key Target leaders. You will efficiently and effectively handles incoming calls, letters, e-mails and comment cards with high quality and professionalism, while achieving performance and service goals. You will work toward continuous improvement in level of service and work processes. You will interact with stores, districts and other key business partners to effectively handle and resolve guest issues in a timely manner. You will appropriately establishes relationships with guests by making strong connections and adding unexpected value to each guest experience in order to enhance and deepen guest relationships, drive guest loyalty and sales. You will provide support for internal team members regarding policy/procedures and system functionality.See Yourself:Owning the brand
Providing a Target branded guest experience with every contact by listening and engaging the guest in order to deepen the guest relationship and drive guest loyalty
Supporting the initiative of developing and sharing business intelligence through accurate documentation and coding.
Identifying, evaluating, and communicating guest trends to leadership in a prompt manner
Handling media sensitive or potential legal issues and situations that involve extensive research or partnering with other key Target leaders
Responding to all written correspondence addressed to Target Executive Offices
Ensuring that all contacts reflect professionalism and the Target Brand
Offering suggestions to streamline correspondence work processes to continually improve level of service and productivity standards
Demonstrating critical thinking skills by identifying unique guest situations and making decisions appropriately
Facilitating dialog to understand the guest's concerns and presents a wide range of solutions to retain the guest relationship
Displaying "best for the guest" service during all points of guest contact and research by anticipating and being open to resolving any customer service issues that may arise
Using on-line resources and web based applications to assist and resolve guest issues
Exercising a complete and thorough understanding of policies and procedures, and support compliance
Displaying positive attitude in interactions within their team by contributing to group problem solving and morale, and making independent decisions when required
Maintaining department performance standards and goals related to performance, offers and quality service
Handling advice calls for other TGR team members on guest resolution and research process
Possessing strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal effectively with people in a tactful, positive manner
Supporting new and existing projects and initiatives when appropriateSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pmTraining class begins on October 9th
Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements:High school Diploma or GED
Previous guest service experience
Strong passion for delivering a great guest experience with every interaction
Ability to interact with guests with the appropriate branded, friendly, empathetic, and professional style
Minimum one year Target experience
Proven, excellent communication, negotiating and decision making skills
Proven, strong, interpersonal/teamwork skills
Ability to use various computer information to answer questions, identify problems and appropriately resolve guest issues
Displays a positive/flexible attitude within the team and with the guest
Demonstrated, superior, verbal and written communication skills
Desire to work in a multi-media environment (e-mails, phone calls, Letters, comment cards) and demonstrated ability to prioritize work accordingly
Must be flexible to work some evenings until 7 PM and some weekends during peak season
Desired Requirements:Target Guest Relations/Target Store/Merchandise experience
B.A. or B.S. Degree, English or Journalism background
Background dealing with media, legal and public relations issues
