Sr Global Operations Support Specialist I

Charles Schwab, a Fortune 500 leader in financial services, is
searching for a Senior Operations Specialist I to join our Global
Operations Dept. in our Phoenix, Arizona Operations Center.


Group Objective: Schwab Global Operations supports our international
branches and clients to ensure their operational processes are
executed timely and accurately. We make investing and trading
possible by opening and maintaining client accounts; processing
correspondence; executing foreign currency wires and providing phone
support. Never content with the status quo, we're continually looking

services to help exceed our clients' and business partners' needs.

Description/Responsibilities: Operations Specialists in the Global
Operations department perform a variety of functions and services for
our international client group. An integral part of this role
includes processing and internal and external client contact. The
processing aspect encompasses tasks such as new account opening,
account updating, customer correspondence, transfer of accounts,
wired funds, foreign currency conversion, received/issued checks and
stock certificates.

In this role, you will be asked to switch gears throughout the day to
assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high volume processing
spikes. Flexibility is a key aspect of this role and the ideal
candidate will need to be equally comfortable with direct client
interaction as they receive inbound client service calls and network
internally to research and resolve client operational issues.


Qualifications: To be effective in this role, the ideal candidate
will demonstrate the ability to build and sustain strong
relationships with clients and partnerships with associates in the
Branch and Investor business segments. Partnership and respect within
the team are also a requirement as there may be times when the
specialist is called upon to coach, train or mentor their peer group.
Productivity, quality, accuracy and accountability are key attributes
that will mark the finalists for this position.

Candidate will have:
ƒæ Bachelor¡¦s degree or equivalent business experience
ľ Series 7 & 63 required
ľ typically 3-6 years in the securities or financial industry
ľ the ability to learn quickly
ľ proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
ľ excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ľ demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance to peers
ľ researches and resolves client issues and problems
ľ ability to manage potential risk
ľ flexibility with regard to both schedule and role as both may
change with little notice in response to market activity and business
demand.
