Sr Customer Instal, Repair, Adds, Moves, Changes--Telecom/Netw.

Stable, 33 year old industry leading trading system communication product development company has an immediate need for a Senior Customer Facing Technician.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



Performs installations and repair work, as well as adds, moves and changes on Northern Telecom, turrets and peripheral equipment.



Works with minimal supervision to quickly isolate a trouble (e.g. Bell Co., MCI, GTE Sprint or the CPE system) and contacts the appropriate company for repairs and adjusts routing or repairs the CPE to maintain transparency to the customer.



Communicates to the customer the nature of the problem found, the diagnosis, and the necessary follow-up to eliminate the problem or complete the work required.



BACKGROUND DESIRED:



High School diploma or equivalency is required. Solid technical background, including five years or more of telephony experience is essential. Northern Telecom Meridian Systems certification is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
