Job Responsibilities:
The Atlanta Field Office has an immediate opening for a Project Manager within the Atlanta Field Sales. The ideal candidate will manage the complete job process from project take-off to financial close out. Identifies from electrical plans and engineering specifications a list of Square D equipment and suggests product substitutions which could make Square D more competitive. Utilizes information to analyze discrepancies and takes appropriate action to resolve them to the customer's satisfaction. May create quotations and conduct follow-ups. Understands, analyzes, documents and communicates contractual, technical, and commercial terms and conditions. Provides technical support, as necessary, for specific projects to resolve issues. Identifies and initiates change orders based on modified customer drawings. Typical products include distribution panel boards, switchboards, transformers, motor control centers, circuit breakers, metering equipment and automation & control devices. May also include medium voltage switchgear.
Requirements: Four year degree, preferably in engineering required or equivalent experience in engineering, technical sales, or customer service, as well as 3-5 years experience in electrical distribution and control products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and strong leadership skills, and have the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
