Software Technical Support Specialist

Strohl Systems, the leader in business continuity planning software is looking for Software Technical Customer Support Specialists. Customer Support handles all inquiries regarding problems with software products. This position involves direct contact with existing customers. The ideal candidate will be personable and friendly and have experience with technical phone support and customer service issues with some technical support.
No weekend work is required. This is a serious but fun job for the right person.

• Customer support representatives are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality technical support services and for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by understanding the software and its functions, identifying the customer's problems, resolving and following through all calls and building and maintaining strong working relationships.REQUIREMENTS:
• Personable and friendly.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Above average computer literacy/skills with the ability to understand the technical aspects of software and its functions.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills/techniques.
• Ability to effectively multitask.
• Oracle and SQL Server database experience a plus.
• Crystal Reports experience a plus

REQUIREMENTS
· Knowledge of Windows Server platforms and IIS
· Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server and/or Oracle
· Experience in Crystal Reports
· Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
