Slot Attendant

* Circulates throughout the area assigned, observing players and functioning of machines.
* Assists in making jackpot payoffs, hopper fills and minor machine repairs.
* Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, annoying or cheating guests to supervisor immediately.
* Promotes and maintains necessary communications between self, co-workers and managers to ensure controlled operation of VLT floor.
* Records, logs any VLT machines that are not working.
* Responsible to maintain change wallets.
* Makes change for large denominations of currency or exchanges currency at customer’s request.* Responsible to ensure Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
* Responsible for accurate payment and documentation of jackpot payouts and hopperfills.
* Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cashier department and customers.
* Promotes positive guest relations; displays a courteous and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with the public.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Able to work weekends and holidays as required.
Prior money handling experience preferred. Must be able to lift and carry bags of coins up to 40 lbs in weight throughout shift and able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty. Excellent verbal communication skills required.
